Being a Mother, Student, and Educator: Graduate Student-Mothers' Parenting Experience During COVID-19 Pandemic

COVID-19 pandemic has been a life-changing experience in many families, affecting parents whose current responsibilities are not only being caregivers, but also educators to their children who forced learn from home. This situation deeply affects student mothers have multiple roles at home, which maintaining postgraduate study, housewives, and accompanying online learning. study aims explore the lived of parenting school-age during pandemic, is viewed quality (positive negative parenting) stress perceived by home learning activities. The participants were four currently undergoing enrolled kindergarten primary school (grade 1-3), pandemic. method used qualitative, with an exploratory approach. data obtained through semi-structured interviews processed using thematic analysis methods. There 7 themes emerged results, are: 1) balancing responsibilities, 2) educating 3) adjusting parent expectations, 4) changes social relationships , 5) agreements about screen time, 6) eating behaviors physical exercises, 7) setting up new routine. These will be discussed further, along implications for parents’ psychological well-being.
